St Michael's

Windhill Bishop's Stortford Hertfordshire
(01279) 654416
http://www.saintmichaelweb.org.uk

St Michael's is the church at the centre of Bishop's Stortford. Its spire is visible from far and wide. There has probably been a church on this site since the seventh century, but the church as seen today was largely built in the early 1400's.

The church is open as a quiet place for visitors, as well as for regular daily services and for private prayer.

It is also home to a thriving and lively community of Christian people who believe that meaning and purpose in life is found through faith in God, and that Jesus Christ is as relevant and challenging to us today as he was 2000 years ago.

We aim to be a welcoming and transforming community of people who know, love and serve God. We are part of the Church of England.
